PGY-2 Corporate Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency

The HealthTrust/University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy PGY-2 Corporate Pharmacy Leadership Residency Program is designed to prepare the resident to function in a pharmacy leadership environment within a healthcare organization. The resident will interact with corporate leaders from several health systems and pharmaceutical vendors. Focusing on optimizing patient care, the resident will acquire the leadership skills to strategically set business goals and priorities for executing tasks at the corporate level.

HealthTrust/Belmont Post-Doctoral Pharmacy Fellowships

Clinical and Regulatory Management Fellowships

The two-year post-doctoral fellowships are designed to provide fellows with an intensive program focused in drug information, evidence-based practice, regulatory processes, teaching, and research. The goal of these programs is to equip fellows with the skills required to excel in various practice settings such as academia, drug information, medical affairs, formulary management, corporate pharmacy, and regulatory agencies. Upon graduation, fellows will be qualified to pursue careers in corporate and regulatory management, drug information, academia, medical affairs, and more.

Clinical Management Fellowship in Drug Information

HealthTrust Performance Group / Belmont University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences

The Clinical Management Fellowship in Drug Information provides a 2-year experience focused in drug information, academia, and corporate management in collaboration with HealthTrust and Belmont in Nashville, TN. Fellows will spend 12 months at each practice site, beginning with Belmont University, and transitioning to HealthTrust. The Belmont experience focuses on the management of day-to-day operations at a drug information center and teaching in drug information courses as an adjunct professor. The HealthTrust experience integrates the fellow into the clinical pharmacy team through engagement with the sourcing department and support of the drug information service.

Regulatory Management Fellowship in Drug Information

HealthTrust Performance Group / Belmont University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences / FDA Division of Drug Information

The Regulatory Management Fellowship in Drug Information provides a 2-year experience focused in drug information, academia, and regulatory affairs in collaboration with HealthTrust and Belmont in Nashville, TN and the FDA in Silver Spring, MD. Fellows will begin a 12 month experience at Belmont, focusing on drug information, teaching, and fellowship recruitment. The fellows will then transition to the FDA’s Division of Drug Information in Silver Spring, MD, answering drug information inquiries, engaging with the public via the FDA social media outlets, and assisting with high profile initiatives. For the final experience, fellows will transition back to HealthTrust in Nashville, TN focusing on the development and implementation of various operational and regulatory initiatives.
