Dr. Bruce McIntosh earned a bachelor’s of science in biomedical engineering at the University of Michigan, after which he attended Wayne State University School of Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Medicine, graduating with honors in 1989. Dr. McIntosh completed his General Surgical residency at the Detroit Medical Center where he was the administrative chief his final year.
After residency, Dr. McIntosh joined the staff at William Beaumont Hospital Troy where he does the majority of his surgery. While at Troy, Dr. McIntosh has held many leadership positions including member-at-large to the medical executive committee and Director of the Division of General Surgery; he has also served on the executive board of the physician organization and the Cancer Clinical Operations board. Dr. McIntosh is certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Brett Whitbread is currently the Senior Director of Value Analysis at Beaumont Health where he is responsible for leading Beaumont’s eight Value Analysis teams and Executive Value Analysis Steering Committee while implementing all Value Analysis strategies. Brett Whitbread has spent over ten years within healthcare supply chain management focusing on contracting within the OR environment and purchased services, Implementation and Value Analysis with Henry Ford Health System (Detroit, MI), The Resource Group, wholly owned GPO subsidiary of Ascension Health, and now HealthTrust. Brett Whitbread has achieved a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from Walsh Business College.

With over 10 years of consulting experience, has overseen and managed many healthcare strategic performance improvement solutions across the continuum in prestigious academic medical centers, children and pediatric facilities, large IDN’s and community hospitals during her healthcare career. She directs complex projects from concept to fully operational status.
