Becky has over 28 years of experience in laboratory science and healthcare leadership, which includes healthcare systems of all sizes and testing complexities. She has years of corporate and executive leadership experience specializing in standardization and optimization of operations across many facilities.
Becky has developed and implemented performance and process improvements, and growth initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance. As Laboratories are one of the most heavily regulated industries, Becky is well versed in improving and maintaining strict compliance. She has also served on the Healthtrust Lab Advisory Board.
Becky has a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, and a Master’s in Business Administration. She is also an ASCP Board Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist and has applied her knowledge and experience to improve operations in laboratories and health systems across the country.
Kara Fortune, PharmD, is the Director of Pharmacy Solutions and Member Support. Prior to her work at HealthTrust, Kara had a role leadership staffing as Assistant Vice President of Pharmacy Services for Ardent Health Services.
Kara is residency trained, completing her pharmacy practice at VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System and oncology pharmacy specialty residency at Methodist University Hospital. She has spent her professional career implementing strategy in an effort to optimize clinical programs and collaborative, patient-centered care.
Kara serves as President-Elect on the UTHSC College of Pharmacy Alumni Board of Directors. July will mark her 17th year with HCA.
Drew Preslar is Assistant Vice President for HealthTrust Advisory Services, where he is responsible for managing and developing client relationships while leading teams in the delivery of supply- chain transformation engagements.
Preslar has more than ten years of experience working in healthcare systems delivering operational improvements, cost reductions, and process redesigns within Supply Chain, Surgical Services, and Pharmacy Operations. Prior to joining HealthTrust, he worked for Deloitte Consulting leading non-labor cost reduction engagements for $2B+ healthcare systems.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated the ability to lead teams and drive transformational
change in organizations with a commitment to developing people, building relationships, and implementing sustainable solutions to the most complex business challenges.
Drew earned his undergraduate degree and MBA from Duke University.
