HealthTrust Innovation Center

HealthTrust’s Innovation Center is the avenue for suppliers with new technology to present their truly innovative products for review. Internal subject matter experts and service line clinical experts from within the HealthTrust membership will determine if those products are clinically acceptable and if the financial and operational impacts are of such value to add them to the HealthTrust contract portfolio. Current or prospective suppliers with “new technology” directly related to patient care, information technology or supply chain management are eligible to submit products for review.

Products deemed to meet the “new technology” definition by internal review may be invited to participate in member-level review, which could take place as part of a live event. Submissions will be reviewed and considered for addition to the HealthTrust contract portfolio through processes aligned with the Strategic Sourcing team’s work plan. (View the bid schedule.)

Submit Product for Consideration

*“New technology” is classified as a product that, as compared to existing products:

  • Offers significant technological advancements,
  • Improves clinical outcomes or patient care in a significant way (i.e., documented reduction in procedure times, outcomes, lengths of stay, readmissions, infection rates), or
  • Streamlines work processes and/or the economics of facility operations in a significant way (i.e., increase or decrease expenses in supply chain or resource utilization).

Demonstration of the above through independent, peer-reviewed publication(s) is beneficial, but not required.*
