HealthTrust Performance Group played a significant role at the 2025 Federation of American Hospitals (FAH) Conference and Business Exposition, held March 5-7, 2025, in Washington, D.C. The FAH Conference and Business Exposition is a premier event for hospital management and healthcare supply chain professionals, featuring discussions on market trends, regulatory updates and industry best practices.
Joey Dickson, VP of Strategic Sourcing at HealthTrust, was honored with the 2025 Corris Boyd Healthcare Leadership Award. This prestigious award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to fostering leadership within the healthcare sector. Dickson was presented with the award during the event’s opening session on March 6, 2025.
“It was a tremendous honor to receive this award, especially because of Corris’ legacy and his lasting impact on so many in this industry. I share this recognition with my team, which reflects the collective efforts of HealthTrust, our members and our smaller suppliers to create meaningful opportunities in the healthcare supply chain,” said Dickson. “Ensuring access to supply chain strengthens our industry and enhances patient care.”
Established by FAH in 2007, the 2025 Corris Boyd Healthcare Leadership Award pays tribute to the legacy of the late Corris Boyd, a visionary leader at HCA and HealthTrust. Before his passing in 2005, Boyd dedicated himself to advocating for leadership development opportunities in healthcare.
