HCA Announces Leadership and Welcomes New Board Members; Organization Thanks Immediate Past Chair Lee Perlman for Service to the Healthcare Supply Chain
Washington, DC (January 30, 2017) – The Healthcare Supply Chain Association (HSCA) today announced its 2017 Board of Directors and that HEALTHTRUST President and CEO Ed Jones will serve as Board Chair. HSCA also announced that Jennifer Gedney, Children’s Hospital Association Vice President of Supply Chain Services, and Jim Johnston, Vice President, PRIME, have joined the Board as new members.
“Ed Jones is recognized industry-wide as a healthcare supply chain leader whose 30+ years of experience will help HSCA and its members continue to deliver the best products at the best value to American hospitals, long-term care facilities, surgery centers, clinics, and other healthcare providers. At the direction of Ed Jones and the HSCA Board of Directors, HSCA will continue to advocate for common-sense solutions to help providers confront the myriad challenges facing the healthcare supply chain.”
The 2017 HSCA Board Officers are: Ed Jones, HEALTHTRUST, Chair; Durral Gilbert, Premier, Inc., Chair-Elect; and, Jody Hatcher, Vizient, Treasurer/Secretary. Immediate Past Chair Lee Perlman, Greater New York Hospital Association, will serve as Immediate Past Chair and Public Policy Chair.
