HealthTrust Executives Featured at FAH Conference and Business Expo

HealthTrust Performance Group, a leading healthcare performance improvement company, will have a number of the organization’s executives and subject matter experts attending and participating in the 2024 Federation of American Hospitals (FAH) Conference and Business Exposition beginning Sunday, March 3 and running through March 5 at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Fla.

HealthTrust executives and subject matter experts will provide thought leadership, supply chain expertise and industry perspectives during insightful sessions and discussions over the three-day event. Representing HealthTrust Performance Group will be the following.

  • Haley Addis, Vice President of Strategic Sourcing will be among a panel of buyers and suppliers welcoming first-time attendees to the conference and orienting them on how to make their time at the event beneficial and productive. 
  • Michael Berryhill, President of GPO Operations along with Guy Wagner, Vice President of Strategic Sourcing Commercial Products; Eric Swaim, Vice President of Strategic Sourcing; and Brian Moran, PharmD, MBA, Vice President of Pharmacy will host three HealthTrust National GPO Update sessions. The team will review global supply chain dynamics, hospital trends since COVID-19, the GPO’s expectations of suppliers, and the value of being a HealthTrust contracted supplier.
  • John Young, M.D., MBA, FACHE, Chief Medical Officer will participate in a panel discussion about the shift of care of services to ambulatory surgery centers. The panel will also share innovative ways to address inflationary pressures and Value Based Care in a clinically integrated supply chain.
  • Brian Moran, PharmD, MBA, Vice President of Pharmacy will participate in a pharmaceutical subcommittee discussion centered on the Inflation Reduction Act and implications for pharmacies and hospitals, research and development, and product availability and shortages.
  • William Kellar, Vice President of Strategic Sourcing will be part of a panel discussing purchased services contract models and best practices in gauging contract performance.

The FAH Conference and Business Exposition is an annual forum for healthcare suppliers to connect with decision makers from group purchasing organizations, hospital systems and integrated delivery networks. In addition to experts in supply chain, attendees also will hear from industry and government leaders during educational sessions addressing current issues and trends in healthcare today.
