Catholic Health Initiatives Extends HealthTrust Relationship Through 2020

BRENTWOOD, Tennessee—October 16, 2015 — HealthTrust℠ today announced that Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), the nation’s second largest faith-based health system, signed a renewal agreement that extends their longstanding relationship an additional five years. The signing follows a comprehensive evaluation of industry capabilities, resulting in CHI’s decision to continue a partnership that began in 2007.

“We are incredibly proud to be partnered with a market leader,” says HealthTrust President and CEO Ed Jones. “CHI brings significant scale to our committed collective, and we are eager to strengthen our collaboration to enhance value for a fast-growing system.”

Dean Swindle, CHI’s president for enterprise business lines and chief financial officer, adds, “As we move to a value-based care and delivery model in healthcare, it’s essential to focus on the types of strategic relationships we have with partners like HealthTrust.
