HealthTrust Performance Group Recognizes Suppliers of the Year for 2023

HealthTrust Performance Group, a leading healthcare performance improvement organization, has named Agiliti, Insight Direct USA, Meitheal Pharmaceuticals, and Merck as Suppliers of the Year for 2023. Nominations were reviewed and winners selected by the HealthTrust Supply Chain Board. Recipients of the 2023 awards were announced during the annual HealthTrust University Conference in Las Vegas.

“The Supplier of the Year Awards acknowledge the outstanding commitments, support, and spirit of partnership that these suppliers deliver to the membership,” said Michael Berryhill, Chief Operating Officer of HealthTrust. “We appreciate their assistance and transparency in light of the inflationary pressures, shortages, and disruptions in the healthcare supply chain, and acknowledge their contributions to strengthening providers’ resilience in serving their patients and communities.”

Supplier of the Year designations were awarded in four categories to the following companies and their representatives attending HealthTrust University Conference.

Clinical Supplier of the Year – Agiliti for ensuring that healthcare providers have ready access to essential medical equipment needed for patient care, from infusion pumps and ventilators to beds and surgical lasers. Agiliti operates a service model that enhances efficiency and productivity, and gives clinicians the ability to spend more time with their patients while reducing costs and maintaining a high-quality standard of medical equipment management.

Commercial Supplier of the Year – Insight Direct USA for going above and beyond in understanding members’ IT needs and delivering fiscally responsible, vendor-agnostic solutions.

Pharmacy Supplier of the Year – Meitheal Pharmaceuticals for its responsiveness in addressing drug shortages, supporting HealthTrust’s Supply Interruption Mitigation Strategies (SIMS) program, providing savings via strategic conversions, and help addressing medication safety concerns.

 ESG Supplier of the Year – Merck for its commitment to environmental initiatives, leadership in organizational diversity, support of diverse suppliers, and transparency in ESG reporting.
